Funded Children are entitled to some FREE sessions

All 3 and 4 year olds (and some 2yr olds) in England are entitled to 15 hours of free Early Years Education each week for 38 weeks of the year. This begins automatically the term after the child's 3rd birthday.

Some 3 and 4yr olds are entitled to an additional 15hrs, making up to 30hrs per week free Early Years Education, from the term after they are three, if their parents are working (conditions apply). 

Under the new Government rules from 1st April 2024, some 2yr olds are entitled to 15hrs per week free Early Years Education, from the term after they are two, if their parents are working (conditions apply). 

Some 2yr olds are entitled to funding the term after they are two if their parents are in receipt of a means tested benefit. (conditions apply). Children in receipt of DLA may also be eligible for 2yr old funding.

Children's funded hours can be used during term time at any of our services during opening hours. This includes Breakfast Club, Pre School and After School Club. Subject to availability. Any stretched hours agreed in advance, can be used outside of term time at our Holiday Club. (*see our stretched funding offer below)

When your child enrols with us, we will need to see his or her birth certificate as evidence of age. For the funding, you will need to complete and sign an application for the free childcare. Every term from this point we will  need you to sign a renewal form.

Please note, that when your child starts school, if he or she is on a part time basis,

the free child care sessions are automatically transferred over to the school.

* 'Stretched Funding'

We can work with parents to take up a pattern of hours which "stretches" their child's entitlement, for example by taking fewer free hours a week, over more weeks of the year. If not all 15 hours are taken each week in term time they can sometimes be used during Holiday Club. Please see Sara Hursey for more details.

Payment

DISCOUNTS

We offer a 10% discount for siblings when you have more than one child at the

same session at Breakfast Club, Pre-School, Lunch Club or After School Club.

PAYMENT

We invoice payments on a regular monthly basis in advance. We request payment within 7 days.

Unfortunately we are unable to refund fees for absences or sickness, due to the fixed costs we incur, such as staff wages.

We will not charge you if you are on Holiday, providing we have been given advance notice before the beginning of the month when the holiday takes place.

If you decide to cancel your child’s place, we require one months notice in writing

of the cancellation.
